Vehicle Description I am presenting to you my garage kept and not out in the rain 1965 Ford Mustang GT 2+2.
Approximately 8 years ago it had a frame up restoration completed in red with a custom gold stripe.
No rust anywhere in or under the vehicle and all stainless steel and chrome shines bright.
Great panel fitting all the way around the car still continues with the exception of the trunk lid which is slightly raised on one side.
It sports new 14 Mag wheels with white striped tires.
The interior is done in stunning black with chrome highlights.
The dash is all set to factory layout and gauges are factory style.
Air conditioning was added under the dash with period correct appearance.
The front seats are bucket and the rear is bench.
Door panels and arm rests are in perfect condition.
It has the factory steering column and factory style steering wheel.
Headliner and carpeting has excellent fit and are in great shape.
The trunk is in perfect condition including the pan.
Under the hood is a 289 V-8 mated to an automatic transmission and a Ford rear end.
Drum brakes at all 4 corners.
Exhaust has headers with dual pipes, muffler, and rear exiting tips that go out of the valance.
It sounds amazing! Under the car the frame and floors are as solid as it gets with no abuse or damage.
I have had this car for over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
It has been started every week and driven very locally frequently.
It grabs looks everywhere you go with it and is sure to start a conversation if you wish.
How often do you see a fastback Mustang and especially one in this great of condition.
I can no longer take it out on the town and drive it to shows and enjoy it the way it should be so it is ready for the next caretaker.
It is financed with Woodside Credit which is a great collector car bank with a very easy process of purchasing.
They possibly could finance it with 10% down which would only be $6,500 out of your pocket (as a down payment) and that is with just decent credit.
Titled in Virginia and car is in Williamsburg, Va Now there are a couple of very minor things to do to make this Mustang 100%:
Replace turn signal switch (comes with the part) Reconnect the speedometer cable which came off under the dash Replace the latch that folds the back seat down (comes with the new latch) Realign left side of trunk lid as seen in the close up trunk picture.
I can no longer get under the dash or stay in a bent position for any period of time to do those couple of things that usually would not require a mechanic to do.
Please contact me Steve 757-633-5366 with any questions or if any additional pictures or videos are needed.
I am not a dealer.
This is privately owned with my name on the title and financed through a bank.
