Here's what you can expect: Our forever home and slice of heaven is located on 6 acres that backs to hundreds of acres of additional farmland. The only immediate structure nearby is the caretaker's house (family's house) which is located next door on the 6 acres and is convenient should any additional service be needed during your stay. My wife and I carefully designed our home with the help of a local architect and then proceeded the custom build with my wife overseeing the process from start to finish. This open concept floor plan makes great use of all available space. Whether your preparing a gourmet meal, sitting down to a holiday feast or entertaining in the living room, you're never out of the conversation! First Floor Bedrooms: Space , space and more space! This home has a large first floor master bedroom with a cozy nursery area along with train and dress up play for our tiniest guests. The master boasts a large ensuite bathroom equipped with a heated jacuzzi tub along with a dual shower head shower room. The master bed faces french doors with views of the country and access leading to the oversized covered deck. Additionally on the first floor is a guest room complete with its own nursery area as well and an attached bathroom with 2 entrances. Both rooms are equipped with queen beds. Second Floor Bedrooms: The entire upstairs consists of 2 bedrooms both actually larger than the downstairs rooms with their own bathrooms as well. One room has 2 double beds, writing desk, and a makeup vanity along with a separate nursery area. The second upstairs bedroom consists of a double bed along with a single, and a few cozy reading nooks as well. This room is complete with a super cute separate play area with doll house, and play kitchen available for any "Little's" in the house. . Bonus Room: The bonus room over the garage comes with its own seating area and a double bed for additional sleeping quarters. Kitchen: The fully stocked gourmet kitchen is complete with custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The countertop bar seats 6 and flows into the dining area with an additional seating for 10. The open concept first floor continues into the living room with multiple seating and lounging options. Home Gym: Feeling energetic, knock out a quick workout in the home gym equipped with commercial elliptical machine and weights located adjacent to the garage and just off the master bedroom. Outside Entertaining: Need to relax after a long day at Busch Gardens, Water Country USA or Colonial Williamsburg then just retire to the enormous covered back deck that overlooks the woods and crops in the field. The huge deck is equipped with a new fire table seating area, dual ceiling fans, speakers, an oversized 7 burner Jenn-Air stainless steel gas grill, seating for all guests and yet still room to spare! The covered back deck has been a fan favorite for morning coffee, evening wine, family gatherings, wedding anniversaries, birthday celebrations and even Yoga Class. Outside: Kids and grownups a like have also thoroughly enjoyed gathering and consuming the fresh eggs the chickens on the property provide. Help yourself! The old tire swing has been a kids favorite as well. We Love Hosting! :) We have felt extremely blessed to host our many large families over the years with plenty of room for multiple generations. We have helped reunite families (our absolute favorite was reuniting an adopted young women with her birth mother after over 30 years of separation), celebrate 60 years of wedlock, a 90th birthday, college graduations, work retreats, and even provided our house to an advertising agency to produce commercial media and print material. The response has been overwhelming and we sincerely thank you for considering our home!
