Plant Engineer
Our customer in the Williamsburg, VA area is currently looking for a Plant Engineer to join their team.
This engineer will support two facilities, located in the Newport News / Williamsburg area of VA produce plastic containers composed of multiple layers of plastic.
Minimum Requirements:
o Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
o A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
o Approachability, commitment to the success of the business, team orientation, customer service orientation, and a sense of urgency are expectations of candidates for this position.
Preferred Skills and Qualification:
o Mechanical Engineering degree
o 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
o Lean implementation
Job
Responsibilities:
o Provide consistent support of a 24/7 Co-Extrusion and Thermoforming operation
o Project work aimed at improving quality, reducing waste, and improving productivity through equipment, controls, and design improvements
o Assisting maintenance in mechanical trouble shooting
o Partner with Corporate Engineering on new equipment installations
o Supporting the reliability improvement process of Printpack Rigid

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
