The Maintenance Department at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is looking for an energetic new team member that is mechanically inclined and likes to work with their hands. Duties include completing preventive maintenance requirements on basic pneumatic valves, conveyor systems, gear boxes and cylinders; inspection of parts using rules, calipers and micrometers; assembly of equipment following diagrams, and assembly drawings while using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; testing equipment and troubleshooting using operations manuals and manufacturer's instructions.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all rides and equipment
Complete Green Tag procedures for all rides and equipment
Keep working areas neat, clean and tidy
Dependable attendance, performance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements
Willing to cross train in other maintenance trades
Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least one year of work experience in industrial or automotive maintenance
Possess knowledge and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
Work at heights exceeding 200ft
Flexible availability to include nights, weekends, and holidays
Valid local driver's license
