The Security Officer Level I provides service and support to create a pleasant and safe atmosphere while protecting property, people, and information.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Foot/mobile patrol; maintaining high visibility and security presence, ensuring compliance with SEA rules and regulations, assisting with revenue escorts, and providing guest assistance where needed
Access control; issuance keys and allowing park access via gates and traffic points
Responding to park emergencies
Writing reports
Requirements and Competencies
Working with the public
H.S. Diploma / GED and DCJS Unarmed certification required
Min. 120 hours security at BGW/WCUSA or police/sec exp
Be exposed to fumes, dust, and/or odor
Be exposed to water
Wear protective gear when required
Work from heights
Work in cold temperature extremes
Work in hot temperature extremes
Work indoors with air conditioning
Work indoors with no air conditioning
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work outdoors in shaded areas
