Must have Certification as Registered Nurse and a current Virginia Sate Nursing License.
Experience:
Two years nursing experience in mental health, intellectual disability, health or related filed.
Experience in clinical supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses.
Skills Knowledge & Abilities:
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of intellectual disability or other developmental disabilities, mental health and physical disabilities Must have knowledge and ability to acquire medical and clinical resources to meet individuals medical and psychological needs Must have knowledge of various medical treatment, first aid, cpr, medication administration, and infection control Must be able to work independently performing duties and responsibilities under general supervision and guidance of Director, Community Living Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing Must be able to maintain effective inter and intra-agency relationships Must have the ability to effectively supervise and coach nurses to optimize their potential Must have the ability to multi task Must able to use a computer proficiently for typing reports, managing time, researching diagnoses, communicating via e-mail Must have a valid Virginia License and must be insurable under VersAbilitys auto insuranceCompetencies:
