They are responsible for managing and conducting financial analysis projects and statistical studies for existing properties and proposed acquisitions, conducting property acquisitions, developing five-year strategic plans, and evaluating asset management.
Must have experience in the hospitality industry (hotels), in order to be considered.

Responsibilities of Director of Budgets and Financial Analysis:
Manages daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to Operations and Ownership Groups Develops reports in Excel and Cognos Analytics Prepares asset critiques for the property team to complete Presents financial results and findings every month to the operations team Analyzes forecasts and P&Ls and offers suggestions for improvement Benchmarks costs from a brand and regional perspective Drives the entire annual budgeting process Functions as a resource to the corporate and property level leadership in data and financial matters Functions as an administrator for the forecasting and budgeting platform Performs ad hock reporting as needed Does research on systems improvements and financial trends as needed Trains new Property Leadership on the functions of the Budgeting and Forecasting platform Assists the Development Team with financial models and data points Builds Excel worksheets on an as-needed basis Occasionally builds and maintains automation in Microsoft Power Automate Coordinates new property acquisition efforts with the Operations and Sales Teams Educational/Vocational Preparation:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or 2 years experience in data analytics.
Qualifications of Director of Budgets and Financial Analysis:
The ideal candidate would be very comfortable in Excel and Cognos Analytics.
Having experience with Aptech Applications is a plus.
The ideal candidate should also have excellent written communication skills.
Must be comfortable in both property and corporate settings and able to project a level of confidence in all hotel accounting matters Must be able to thrive in a highly visible, fast-paced environment and manage multiple conflicting priorities Must be able to be resourceful and creative at times while working within the culture and policies of the organization Written communication to all levels of management both inside and outside of NHG; therefore, excellent writing and presentation skills are required Ability to maintain a pleasant, positive and helpful demeanor Neat, clean, and professional appearance Job Type:
