This position is responsible for the safety of the children in the Sports Club babysitting, programs and events ensuring participants have a safe and fun experience.
This is a part time year round position.
Responsibilities:
Leads, organizes, supervises and chaperons children attending babysitting, classes, physical activities, arts and crafts, sports, presentations and events Assists with planning, developing and conducting age appropriate recreational activities for children Performs setting up and breaking down equipment for various events and activities.
Prepares documentation as required Prepares meals Assists during emergency situations Reports any accidents immediately and monitors facilities to maintain structure, safety and a clean and welcoming environment Ensures safety rules, policies and guidelines are followed and coaches appropriately when required ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience Performs tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to be punctual and organized Candidates must have professional presentation Ability to serve as a positive role model and enjoy working with children Ability to build relationships Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 40 pounds Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time indoors/outdoors in a varied environment that may include heat and sunlight exposure Must possess strong communication skills and courteous manner Possess knowledge of occupational hazards and precautions related to child care Must be CPR/1st Aid/AED certified or willing to obtain upon hiring Must be at least 18 years of age Prefer High School Diploma Prefer 3 to 9 months working with children Quick Apply.
